


While he was released, YG had started going into meetings from Atlantic Records to Def Jam, where they chose him to sign with the latter due to brand recognition. In 2009, after serving six months in jail for residential burglary charges, YG had signed a deal with Def Jam Records. It also features production from frequent collaborator, DJ Mustard, who is one of the Executive Producer of the album, Metro Boomin, Terrance Martin, as well as production from Ty Dolla $ign, who also appears on the album as a featured artist. The album features guest appearances from big named artists, such as Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and many more. My Krazy Life marks Compton rapper, YG’s debut studio album, which released on March 18th, 2014.
