On the arrival level (downstairs) there are an abundance of car rental counters, 4 or 5 hotel reservation centers an Oxxo (convenience store) and a few restaurants.īack up at the departure level, once you go through security there are more restaurants stores and Starbucks.
If you want American food they have Subway and Carls Jr. Immediately adjacent it is another restaurant called "La Ciudad de Colima". The food is excellent, clean & prices are reasonable. They gave us a WIFI code but the connection was very poor.įor our other meals we patronized the food court, eating at "Pollo Rio" twice. We ate our first meal at Wings (the US equivalent to Denny's) the food was average and way overpriced. On the departure level there are two sit-down restaurants and a food court that has about 15 restaurants, variety of stores, a few currency exchanges and Starbucks. I decided to use my time here to write about the airport hoping it will be useful to other travelers. We ended up being stuck 11 hours at the Benito Juarez International Airport Terminal 2 (T2) waiting to get a flight to our final destination. We made the innocent mistake of flying on a Mexican holiday weekend -referred to in Spanish as a 'puente vacacional' (who knew, right?).
