The title is just as addictive as the previous entries in the series, although the skill system has been reworked to allow for more flexibility in combat and crafting, and is set to become a more attractive option for old gear.
Diablo 4 is being developed for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, but while Sony and Microsoft will be dropping the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 this holiday, Blizzard cautioned that the game won't be arriving anytime soon.Diablo 3 is big news in the world of gaming, with gamers eagerly checking their accounts to see if they've been granted access to the closed beta. Diablo 4 was introduced at BlizzCon 2019 in November, a year after its controversial absence at the 2018 convention where instead a mobile take on the series, Diablo Immortal, was shown off to negative fan reaction. The ability to play Diablo with a controller arrived with Diablo 3's port on consoles, and while it was met with praise from fans, Blizzard shot down any chance of the feature arriving on the PC version, as everything from the UI to the pace of the gameplay was altered to fit the controller. The post also discusses the design of a new enemy class, as well more details on how local multiplayer will work and be improved upon from the Diablo 3 expansion Reaper of Souls. 
In the post, Blizzard also confirmed that any ability or skill customized to any key or button on keyboards and controller, including the ability to separate action and movement commands from the left-click button on mice, a notorious aspect of the franchise given how often players click to move and attack in any given moment.
Much of the blog post concerns unifying the PC and console user experiences without simplifying either, given it’s the first time in the series an entry will launch for both platforms simultaneously and the first time the PC will have controller support.
